Behind every event, workshop or club meeting there are lots of people, energy and honest work – and very often your 2% of tax. They are not just numbers in a spreadsheet. They are experiences, new friendships, safe spaces for young people, education, sport, culture and care for the town and the community.
We fund our activities from several sources, and your 2% is one of them. Thanks to it, we can run activities that make sense and have a real impact. Donating your 2% is simple – you will find the steps at the end of the article.

🏃♀️ FESTIVAL OF UNCONVENTIONAL SPORTS
Sport like you won't experience anywhere else.
The festival brings to Spišská Belá a kind of movement that is not about performance but about the joy of discovery. Children, young people and adults can try unconventional sports, new game formats and activities that you don't normally see on playgrounds. Thanks to contributions, we can provide food for volunteers, new sports equipment, transport of materials, external attractions and promotion. The result is a day full of movement, laughter and shared experiences.
🎨 MONTHLY PROGRAMMES AT FACE CLUB
Face Club is a safe space where children and young people can feel accepted, heard and themselves. Every month there are regular programmes focused on developing relationships, skills and creativity. We use the funds for materials, club equipment, promoting the programmes and small refreshments. This way the club can run all year round and offer meaningful activities beyond the big events.
🎤 #MLADÍMLADÝM CONFERENCE
The conference creates space for authentic stories, open conversations and topics that really interest young people. On stage are peers who have the courage to talk about their experiences. The funds go towards promotion, technical equipment, guest fees, design elements, refreshments and food for volunteers. Thanks to this, the conference has a professional standard while remaining accessible.
🍎 APPLE FEAST (JABLKOVÉ HODY)
The scent of apples, children's laughter and neighbours meeting.
The Apple Feast brings the community together, revives traditions and creates space for shared experiences for whole families. We provide prizes for competition winners, accompanying attractions, creative workshops, logistics and promotion. Thanks to this, the Apple Feast has its unique, family atmosphere. At the next edition, we would like to enrich the programme with a nature-themed workshop as well.
🧠 WORKSHOPS AT PÔJD
A place where we learn, share and inspire each other.
The workshops bring quality topics from education, personal development and social issues. They are open to the general public and support discussion. We use the funds to arrange lecturers, refreshments for participants and promotion, so that these activities are accessible to everyone.
🤝 EDUCATION FOR VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are the heart of everything we do.
Training and weekend stays strengthen their skills, motivation and team relationships, which directly shows in the quality of programmes for children and young people. We cover food and accommodation for volunteers and lecturers, as well as team-building activities. An experienced and motivated team can create a safe and stimulating environment.
🌸 SPRING COMMUNITY FESTIVAL
A festival that brings generations together is the community's first spring gathering. Together we tidy up the community garden and prepare the planting for the new season. The event creates space for informal meetings, creating together and conversations in a pleasant setting. The programme includes community soup, creative workshops and herbs for the herb planter (bylinkomat). Even small things can create big shared experiences.
🏕️ SUMMER CAMPS
A summer full of experiences, laughter and new friendships.
The summer camps focus on children's development, inclusion and building relationships. Children enjoy a programme they remember long after the holidays. Contributions help cover the costs of lecturers, trips and food, which keeps the camps affordable even for families with limited means.
🎬 SCREENINGS OF FAIRY TALES AND FILMS
Evenings together under the open sky have their own magic.
The summer screenings bring relaxation, meeting up and a shared experience for children, parents and grandparents. We use the funds for film licences and for buying an inflatable screen and a popcorn machine, which makes pleasant and affordable community evenings possible.
🧹 LET'S CLEAN UP SPIŠSKÁ BELÁ
We see caring for the town we live in as a shared responsibility.
Cleaning up public spaces together brings people together who care about their surroundings and want to actively improve them. We cover promotion of the event and small refreshments for the volunteers taking part. Together we contribute to a cleaner and more beautiful Spišská Belá.

We thank every one of you for your support – whether by taking part in our events, through material or financial help, by donating your 2% of tax, or even with a kind word. We truly appreciate it and look forward to meeting again.
The recipient of the 2% of tax is the civic association Expression o.z., which works closely with and supports the operation of Face Club and Pôjd. It has signed a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation with the town of Spišská Belá.
All funds from the 2% of tax will be used to support the activities of Face Club, Pôjd and volunteering.
HOW TO DONATE 2% (OR 3%) OF YOUR TAX
If you want to help us, one option is to donate 2% of your tax to us. The process is simple:
1. Ask your employer
Ask your employer to carry out the annual tax settlement and to issue the form Confirmation of Tax Paid.
2. Calculate the percentage of your tax
From the figures in the Confirmation, calculate:

2% of the tax you paid (the minimum amount is €3),
-
3% of your tax, if you completed at least 40 hours of volunteering in the given year
(in this case you need to attach a volunteering certificate – we will be happy to arrange one for you).
3. Fill in the Declaration on Assigning Tax
In the Declaration, enter the recipient's details:
Company ID (IČO): 42229430
Business name: Expression o.z.
(The IČO is written from the right; the SID box is left blank.)
4. Submit the forms
Submit the Declaration together with the Confirmation of Tax Paid to the tax office for your place of residence no later than 30 April.
When assigning 3%, a confirmation of the volunteer hours worked is also a mandatory attachment.
The tax office then has 90 days to transfer the assigned 2% (or 3%) to us.
