Over the past week, we spent an unforgettable summer camp, Štvorlístok, together at Pôjd and FACE CLUB. Every day brought new adventures, plenty of laughter, movement and valuable experiences.
🤝 New friendships from day one
We kicked off the camp on Monday with icebreaker activities that helped the children get to know each other and make their first friendships. From the very first day, it was clear that an exceptional week full of shared experiences lay ahead.
🚆 Trip to the LEGO experience centre
On Tuesday, we took the train to Poprad, where we visited the LEGO experience centre. The journey itself was an adventure – children's songs rang out on the train, and the singing made the trip more enjoyable not only for us but also for other passengers.
⚽ Sport despite the rain
Wednesday was all about sport. We had originally planned a trip to the Belá pond, but the rainy weather changed our plans. Instead of being disappointed, we got creative and prepared a sports programme at Pôjd. Thanks to a bit of improvisation, the rainy day turned into a day full of movement, competitions and good spirits.
🏞️ The unique atmosphere of the Belá Cave
On Thursday, we visited the Belá Cave. Our talented girls made the tour even better, creating an unrepeatable atmosphere in the cave's unique space with their singing. It was a moment we will remember for a long time.
📚 Discovery and shared reflection
We spent the last day of camp at the J. M. Petzval Museum, where we learned new things about a famous local-born figure. After we returned, we held a shared reflection on the whole camp, shared our favourite moments and handed out small keepsake gifts.
💙 A camp that brings people together
We were delighted that children with special needs were part of the camp too. Together, we managed to create an environment where everyone felt accepted, respected and safe. Mutual help, tolerance and natural acceptance were among the greatest values of our week together.
During the camp, new friendships were formed and existing ones grew stronger. We experienced plenty of fun and unconventional moments, laughed a lot, sang, played sports and explored new places together. There were days when we walked more than 16,000 steps, but the tiredness was always balanced out by wonderful experiences.
Štvorlístok Camp 2026 once again showed that when open hearts, good spirits and a willingness to be there for one another come together, unforgettable moments are born. Bringing people together and breaking down barriers – that was the message of our week together.
In closing, we thank all the children, parents and FACE CLUB volunteers, who were an important part of this lovely summer story. We are already looking forward to our next time together.
