We invite you to spend a Sunday together. Let's spend an afternoon full of fun, relaxation and, above all, shared moments. Children, young people, seniors, families and individuals alike – there is something for everyone. We look forward to seeing you on 31 July 2022 from 13:00 in the garden of the Evangelical church in Spišská Belá.

What can you look forward to?

Community Sunday will be another big collaboration between several organisations and initiatives from our town, where everyone contributes what they do best.

Activities for children and young people galore

Face Club in cooperation with the town of Spišská Belá and the civic association Expression o.z. and its volunteers will take care of a creative and sports programme for the kids and will also prepare an escape room for young people. Our international volunteer Máša will brighten up our time together by playing the piano.  The day will end with a screening of the animated fairy tale Valley of the Lanterns (Údolie lampášikov).

The Hernička mother and child centre will also make sure that the littlest ones and the seniors are looked after. Viki Sisková, one of the members of Hernička, will share her knowledge of the Montessori approach with the mums. Besides the theoretical principles, you will also learn how to prepare a Montessori environment at home and what activities you can offer your little ones right from birth to 3 years. There will also be demonstrations of Montessori materials or recommended books.

The civic association Kráčame spolu will also contribute by taking part and will prepare interesting activities of various kinds for all the little ones.

The actresses of the amateur theatre Theatrobalans will make sure that every child's little face is decorated with face painting as far as possible and to their liking.

A pleasant space and new knowledge

The congregation of the Evangelical Church in Spišská Belá will share its beautiful premises with us and for all the curious will provide a guided tour of the Evangelical church.

Great food that must not be missed!

Once again, delicious food will be taken care of by Chef from the woods or Ľubo Šmindák. If you haven't tasted his food yet, Community Sunday will be a great opportunity.
