Last Friday, nearby Lendak hosted an inspiring event called Europe Day. The aim of the event was to show young people the opportunities Europe offers. So we didn't hesitate and went to present our work too, including volunteering abroad.
Volunteer Paula from Latvia told participants everything one can learn, see, experience and discover during a year in a foreign country. Slovak volunteers Jakub and Samuel, in turn, presented their volunteering at FACE CLUB and beyond. With banners of photos from our events, we managed to present the various kinds of events we have run and still run.
We weren't the only ones there; Erko – the Movement of Christian Communities of Children, Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) and their opportunities, the organisation Adel, and IUVENTA – Slovak Youth Institute also presented themselves.
We thank the organisers for the chance to spread our work beyond the borders of the town of Spišská Belá. We also thank the volunteers for their willingness to present what they love.
