The Hernička mother and child centre in cooperation with FACE CLUB and the Union of Mother Centres invites you to a joint event called Mile for Mum (Míľa pre mamu).
The event will take place on Saturday 7 May 2022 at the Day Centre in Strážky.
- Mile for Mum has been organised by the Union of Mother Centres regularly since 2004. Hernička has taken part in the event since 2020.
- The aim of the campaign is to organise, together with volunteers from mother and family centres, a grand celebration dedicated to all mothers and to thank them for their unique and irreplaceable role as mothers.
- Mile for Mum is also a thank-you for the volunteer work of the women – mothers – in mother and family centres, who selflessly help their community during their parental leave by creating a safe space for families with small children.
- The Mile Walk is an experiential route that families can walk again this year, on 7 May from 10.00 a.m., on foot, by bike, scooter, roller skates, in a pushchair or in a wheelchair. Along the route, sporty, creative and fun tasks will be waiting for children and parents, and they will be rewarded at the finish.
We invite you to join us, together with your little ones, to walk a symbolic mile and dedicate it to our mums.
A supporting programme will be prepared at the day centre: Montessori activities for the little ones and creative workshops for the older ones.
