The start of the new year at FACE CLUB was about returning to regular club life, spending time together and planning more activities for children and young people in Spišská Belá.

During January FACE CLUB organised two film screenings in the cinema hall. The screening for children offered the film Mice in Action – Christmas Revenge, while adults could watch the film The Flood. Both events took place thanks to the support of the ZSE Foundation.

A major piece of news was the welcome of a new volunteer from abroad. Toni from Spain has joined the FACE CLUB team and is gradually getting involved in club activities and work with young people. More information about the volunteer is available on the town's website:

In January FACE CLUB also launched a campaign asking people to assign 2% of their tax to the club, through which residents can support its activities. Information about the campaign is available at:

The club also took part in the vote in the Správne začiatky programme (Tesco). The aim of the project is to buy a stair lift and create a FACE CLUB without barriers. Voting runs until 15 February. You can find more information at:

Alongside the public activities, the regular Tuesday meetings continued, in which the team reviewed past activities and planned the programme for February. The club also carried on running as usual, with work behind the scenes, including planning festivals and community events and submitting the final report on a grant.

FACE CLUB thanks everyone who took part in its activities or supported it in January. The current programme and upcoming events are posted on the town's website as they are confirmed.
