The adventure and discovery day summer camp was truly varied.

Throughout the week we devoted each day to a different topic. We improved children's key competences in selected topics, learned new things, had fun and also spent time with friends. Each day included a new virtual friend who guided us through it.

On Monday it was our friend the fairy Zelinka, along with nature and the environment. We peeked into the life of a beekeeper, the secrets of the forest, and the joys and worries of our Earth. We helped insects by making an insect hotel and birds by making water dishes for them.

On Tuesday, with our friend Snap, we took a look into the world of the Internet. We escaped from the hands of an enemy who attacked our laboratory, of which we became part during an escape game. We talked about everything that can happen to a photo once we put it on the internet, and finally we made hero T-shirts.

On Wednesday, with Tvorilka, we went on an adventurous trip to the Ľudovít Fulla Gallery in Ružomberok, where we got to know the works and life of this painter. We enriched the day with creative activities prepared for us by the gallery's staff.

On Thursday, Mr Dukátik, using an example from his own life, introduced us to the topic of financial literacy. We learned what money is, how it came about, and what a family budget is, with its income and expenses. So that we could both spend and save, we made wallets and piggy banks from waste materials.

On Friday, together with Chválobój, we set off on a journey to the good King. We wandered through the town, completed tasks and challenges, resisted the enemy's traps, supported one another, cooperated and helped each other. At the end of the journey the King asked us to bring goodness wherever we go. The good King and our new friends prepared a rich treasure, from which everyone got something. We finished the camp with homemade pizza, ice lollies, a fairy tale and games together.

We believe that this camp was enriching for the children, that they enjoyed it and took away lots of new experiences. Thank you to everyone who helped us in any way with the preparation and running of it, and we look forward to next year.
