The first day of June traditionally belongs to all children, young and not so young. After all, there is a bit of a child hiding in each of us. The Children's Day celebrations were not missing at our FACE CLUB.
This day should be full of fun, laughter, movement and lovely experiences with family or close friends, buddies and classmates.
Our youth workers decided to dedicate this day to the children from the Centre for Children and Families in Spišská Belá and, together with the children who regularly visit FACE CLUB and our international volunteers, to bring the communities together and spend a pleasant time together.
The garden of the Centre for Children and Families turned into a big sports ground. The children had the chance to try unconventional sports such as a bungee rope, archery and ladder golf. Others were drawn to badminton or the mega Jenga tower. The youngest ones had fun on ride-on Plasma cars and with Maxi bingo.
We finished the pleasant afternoon together with tasty goulash and a sweet treat, which the staff of the Centre for Children and Families prepared for all of us.
