On the last Saturday of April, we teamed up with the Let's Clean Up Slovakia initiative to collect litter in Spišská Belá. The event was organised by FACE CLUB.
Around 35 children and young people. That's more than 70 busy hands helped make our Spišská Belá more beautiful. Before we started, we prepared a strategy, divided up the locations, split into groups and took up our collecting positions.
The result was 20 full bags of litter, and a tidied-up area around Tesco, the Motorest, the railway tracks nearby, and the pond. At the same time, everyone was very pleased, and we finished a lovely day with refreshments and games together at FACE CLUB.
Thank you to all our little and big “pickers” for their help – we look forward to a cleaner neighbourhood.
