You might be wondering who Máša is and why we are asking her 5 questions. Máša is from Ukraine and came to us as a volunteer. We owe the fact that she can spend 8 months with us at FACE CLUB, bringing a piece of her culture among us, to the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), which supports this and other projects. Through this interview we will try to introduce Máša to you, but know that meeting her in person is much better. You can meet her and put your language skills to use at FACE CLUB, but certainly outside it too.

- Briefly introduce yourself
My name is Masha Sedaya. I am 21 years old and I come from Mariupol – a city by the sea. I am a student of practical psychology. And I think love is the most important and strongest thing in the whole universe.
- What do you like to do in your free time?
Knitting, yoga, walks, psychology, nature, crafts – these are the things I love. And the biggest part of my soul belongs to music and people.
- What was your motivation to come to Slovakia and get involved in volunteering?
To be happy and useful – that is the theme of my life. So right now I am here for exactly that reason.
- When did you first hear about Slovakia? Had you been here before? Was the choice of country a deciding factor for you? If so, why Slovakia?
Honestly, countries and geography in general don't interest me, but I'm so happy to be in Slovakia. I had never been here before. And I really enjoy this beauty. Every morning I wake up with a smile because I know I will see beautiful nature and beautiful people.
- What have you managed to experience since you arrived? Do you have a nice memory?
I have been here since the end of March. I had various meetings and walks, spent time with other volunteers, worked and had a ton of fun with the children. So I can't choose what was best. I liked all of it a lot! I'd also love to meet you. Always at FACE CLUB during opening hours, or outside at its events.
